Pete's #6
Let's stay in California, but let's head south to Long Beach, where we find this next band. You can call them a reggae band, a ska band or an alternative band or you can call them one of the most under rated bands of the 90's. Off of their 1996 self-tittled album...
Pete's number 6 song is ..
Sublime ~ Seed
" So my god look at me If he had to go I know I know I'm barely lovin' my holy creed You never knew that was what you need Oh my god honestly believe it or not its a disease."

Pete's #7
We're California bound! Sacramento to be exact, where we'll find this next artist. If you listened to alternative rock in the 90's you know this next band. They might not have had great commerical success, (only one gold album), but they sure could write a catchy song. Off of their 1996 gold album "Fashion Nugget"...
Pete's number 7 song is ..
Cake ~ Friend is a Four Letter Word
" When I go fishing for the words I am wishing you would say to me, I'm really only praying That the words you'll soon be saying Might betray the way you feel about me.
But to me, coming from you, Friend is a four letter word."

Pete's #8
Let's head to on of my favorite cities and states, Raleigh, North Carolina. Where we will find this next band. They are a heavy metal band that was formed in 2000. Off if their 2007 album "Colors"...
Pete's number 8 song is ..
Between the Buried and Me ~ Ants of the Sky
" Across all oceans...a windy, noisy trek... this seems to be what I've needed. The view used to be better...lands are growing into one. We wanted it this way. We were brought up to grow into one. I'm going to fly up soon and seek other lands. The soothing air of flight... a bird's eye view into what I've always imagined life could be. Will it be sought after? It might just be useless writing and ideas that laziness will corrupt in the end. Bones of dust need hardening. I think the prescription is found.!"

Refused ~ The Deadly Rhythm
Is it our duty to die for governments & for gods? Is it our privilege to slave for market & for industry? Is it our right to follow laws, set to scare and to oppress? Is it a gift to stay in line and will it take away the blame?"

Sorry for the Interruption (19) but...
Sorry for the interruption but the TTMB would like to bring you some different and one classic cover songs. Who doesn't like a good cover song?
This first one I heard for the first time this past weekend at a concert. It was total unexpected, yet amazing at the same time.
Bush ~ Breathe (Pink Floyd)
What can you say about the next song? Other than the fact that it, in my opinion is one of the best cover song ever!
Johnny Cash ~ Hurt (Nine Inch Nails)
One of the most recognizable voices of the 90's covering the king of pop?
Chris Cornell ~ Billie Jean (Michael Jackson)
Keep your eyes open for a new top ten tomorrow!

Todd's #3
Believe it or not, we're headed to New Jersey. Where we'll meet this next band is from. An interesting fact about this band is that they not only performed their own songs, they also preformed the poems of the late Shel Silverstein including this song off if their 1973 album of the same name...

Dr. Hook ~ Cover of the Rolling Stone
