Time for a new top ten!

As my last post stated, I have a new top ten list to post! This one comes from my co-worker John, who happens to be from London.

I never realized this until I started thinking of my top ten list.  Every time that this song comes on the radio or my ipod I have to turn it up and sing along.  I guess that's why it's my #1 song .

It's hard to believe I was a freshman in high school when this song came out.  It may be a little dark but it's this high on my list for a reason.

Dave Matthews Band ~ Crush (1998)

The band who influenced a generation.  Out of all their great songs, why did I choose this one?  I heard it for the first time when I was a freshman in high school, and I've loved it ever since.  Also It has to be the full version, all 8 minutes of it.

Foo Fighters ~ Times like these (2003)

 In my humble opinion the Foo Fighters at their best.

Number 6,  this one also might be a little bit of a surprise
Red Hot Chili Peppers ~ The Zephyr Song (2002)

"Fly away on my zephyr
I feel it more than ever
And in this perfect weather
We’ll find a place together
Fly on my wind"
  This one was a tough choice,  I knew a RHCP song would go here but I couldn't decide.  My decision came down to either this song or "can't stop".  So I listened to each one over and over and very quickly found out how much I loved this song.

 What can I say , my favorite song by one of my favorite bands.

Modest Mouse ~ Float on (2004)

I bet this is a surprise for most of you but I absolutely love this song.  Whenever I hear this song, it automatically get stuck in my head..  "Alright don't worry even if things end up a bit too heavy.
We'll all float on...alright. Already we'll all float on."
